Privacy, in plain words.

Waitlist: your email address, and which sign-up form you used.

Supplier registration: company name, your name, work email, phone number, the kind of supplier you are, your monthly volume, the metals you deal in, and, if you give them, your GSTIN and a note.

Automatically, when you submit a form: a one-way, salted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address, so we can limit repeated submissions. We never store your IP address itself, and the fingerprint can't be turned back into it.

We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and this site doesn't set cookies of its own.

• To email you when early access opens (waitlist). One email when we open, then only if you sign up.
• To contact you about supplying bullion through spotmarket (supplier registration).
• To keep the forms free of spam and abuse.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

The site and its database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and D1). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf to provide those services. If we later use an email provider to send the launch email, it will receive only your email address, for that purpose.

Everything travels over HTTPS. Submissions are checked on our server before they're stored, and access to the database is limited to the spotmarket team.

Until spotmarket launches and we've contacted you about it, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Supplier registrations we don't proceed with are deleted within 12 months.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email privacy@spotmarket.in from the address you signed up with and we'll act on it within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

spotmarket is for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 18.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email the people it affects.
